Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve and ate some yummy food. I made lobster, baked potatoes, broccoli, and chocolate lava cakes for dessert – it was delicious! Today my family and I did the traditional German New Year’s Day meal of pork and sauerkraut. Oh, and incase you were wondering, the sauerkraut was homemade using cabbage from my garden!
With it being the new year I know a lot of people like to make resolutions, so over the next few weeks I’ll be posting some of my favorite healthy recipes as well as tips and tricks to keep calories in check. I’ll also be giving you a little insight as to how I plan meals for the week and stay organized in the kitchen – all of these things will help you become a better eater!
I would also like to thank all of you that have supported me in the development of this blog, and those that continue to follow – it means a lot to me. I have tons of recipes and ideas to share with you, so I look forward to 2014 being a great blogging year 🙂
